Dear Learner

you do not need an xtra to make your presentation CD.
Director8 let you import QuickTime or AVI digital video with out using an
xtra
The best format in my point view is QuickTime Movies.
If you are working with a QuickTime digital video, a video controller bar
appears, and you can start and stop the movie as you want.
OR You can control the QuickTime movies by using lingo or using
behavies(see the help file).

I hope this will help.
