Good reply and intent, but needs the correction: This culture---this way
of life---will not (and cannot) last forever. Humans can survive if we
take down this culture and stop it from killing what's left of the
planet (thinking now of all the cultures that can and do exist without
killing the planet and have survived for hundreds of thousands of
years---indigenous Australia for one). That being said though, yes, if
we don't stop this culture, we'll all be dead. BUT the point is humans
are not inherently the drivers of the destruction. Industrialised humans
are. It's /t//his culture /that is killing the planet. And we can stop
this culture.

And further, the problem with Stephen Hawking and ilk is that their
"solutions" are rather than recognise that this culture is killing the
planet---and hence that is the thing that must be stopped---the solution
is to not drop this culture and just colonise space and power on as
usual with the same old bullshit, a concept and idea and non-"solution"
which is completely out of touch with physical reality.

We all---humans (and industrial humans) and non-humans alike---are all
dead without this planet.

Ask a 5 year old. If the planet is dying because we're burning oil and
gas, what do we do to stop it? If you have a choice to change your
culture or die (but not only just yourself die, BUT EVERYONE ELSE TOO),
what would you do?

The questions are really easy if your allegence is to the real physical
world, rather than this piece of shit culture that just wants to create
a dead toxic mimic of the real world (and will succeed if we don't stop
it --- plus we'll die too).

2c.
