With 512MB I can run WebLogic 6.1sp1 (pure java) just fine.

Talk to your IBM contact about getting an early look at the Java SDK
that supports the 2.4.x kernel (it should be GA real soon now).

Subject: SLES 7.2 and Java

Hi, we just ordered the SLES 7.2 distribution and didn't see Java on the
first 2 CD's. We then downloaded JDK 1.3 and received an out of memory
error when compiling Hello World. This is a S/A LPAR that has 512 meg of
storage. The README.txt file indicated that it had not been tested with
the 2.4 kernel. We then downloaded the 1.2 JDK and received segment errors
when compiling Hello World. ALso we get errors when we try to start Tomcat
3.3. All this software worked on the 2.2.16 kernel. What is the correct
version of JDK to use with the 2.4 kernel. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
