You can still copy older libraries on your system and modify the Java wrapper scripts to use these older libs and have the rest of your system updated to the newest and greatest. Red Hat Linux 7.2 has all this prepared as far as I know, you just have to install the "compat*.rpm" libs. cu, Florian La Roche
