The basic jist of the bill would mean that any software or hardware that didn't include a government approved form of copy protection could not be distributed within the United States. No software from outside the US could be legally imported, since it wouldn't include the copy protection. It would also end the shared libraries, since I couldn't write a piece of software and give it to anyone else without violating the law and facing criminal charges. ---- Robert P.
