Mark, "ssh -v". This is my first venture into ssh/ssl. If there is a problem with the keys, I wouldn't be surprised. On each system I did an ssh-keygen, using the same passphrase. As I said, I can ssh to each system from its' own shell (big deal) successfully, but not from one system to the other.
Paul ================================================================== From: "Post, Mark K" Subject: Re: ssh_dss_verify: signature incorrect Paul, Are you doing an "ssh -v" command (or ssh -v -v, even) to get debugging information? This sounds like a problem with the encryption keys not checking out correctly. Mark Post -----Original Message----- From: paultz Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2003 3:33 PM Subject: ssh_dss_verify: signature incorrect Finally got the binaries working for z/OS 1.2 USS .... sorta. I can go into OMVS shell under TSO, do an ssh into the same system, and get logged right in, no problems. If I try to ssh (from the same OMVS shell) to my RH7.2 Linux system, I get: ssh_dss_verify: signature incorrect key_verify failed for server_host_key ...... then it terminates the session. What does it mean, 'signature incorrect'? Thanks, Paul ------------------------------------------------------------------------
