LARL is a z/Architecture instruction that was also put back into ESA/390 (one of those N3 instructions). -----Original Message----- Does anyone know if SuSE SLES8 supports 31-bit processors? I tried to boot the starter system on our 31-bit processor and it went into a program interrupt loop. When I traced what was happening it seems to have taken an operation exception on a LARL instruction.
