I down loaded a copy early this morning, around 8:am CST and the whole
document is legible; no garbage. I am using the latest release of adobe
reader, ver 6.0 as well.

Mike,
You might want to rebuild the PDF. The bookmarks are badly constructed
and
consisted of things that don't look like headings. The main part of the
book
comes under the bookmark "The following terms are trademark...". I also
received some "bad object" messages from Acrobat (which may not be your
fault).
