Steve,

If you did things correctly, then you will need to load the DIAG driver
(modprobe dasd_diag_mod?), and then just do a "mkswap" and "swapon" command
against it.  Note that Sine Nomine has a very nice CMS REXX exec to put the
swap signature on the VDISK before IPLing Linux, so that Linux will just be
able to do its usual "swapon -a" command during normal startup.  Check on
their downloads page for it.  It's called SWAPGEN.
