After talking with the vendor we ordered it through, they appear to have burned us copies of the install kit so we would get it in time to install today (it arrived yesterday) and the real deal is still forthcoming. Fortunately, this same vendor supplied us a means to get the SP-3 update.

In (or with?) the packet is a sealed envelope that contains your registration information so you can register on SuSE's web site for support, including the ability to download SP3. You download a GZIP'ed tar file, when you then expand to make an .iso image, which you then mount as a loopback image of a CD-ROM. It's not very VM-like, but then again, this is Linux, not our old operating systems. :-) Good luck, Nick ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
