If you're running VM on your S/390 or zSeries, that's as easy as it gets. Since there's no SuSE for OS/390, I'm guessing that's what you meant. > Is this procedure the best and easiest way to go to 9.0? Would it be easier to upgrade from 8 > to 9? Wrt to upgrade, that's a religious question. *I* would create a new virtual machine and install a new SLES 9 system rather than try to sort out upgrade questions. It doesn't break your current system, and there's lots of new stuff to take advantage of that isn't in SLES8. Also, I don't think there is a "upgrade" method if you are switching from 31-bit to 64-bit, so you may not have a choice. -- db > > TIA! > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, > send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit > http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 > > > ** ACCEPT: CRM114 PASS Markovian Matcher ** > CLASSIFY succeeds; success probability: 1.0000 pR: 158.7187 > Best match to file #0 (nonspam.css) prob: 1.0000 pR: 158.7187 > Total features in input file: 5584 > #0 (nonspam.css): features: 3658625, hits: 2716677, prob: 1.00e+00, pR: 158.72 > #1 (spam.css): features: 3378565, hits: 2434659, prob: 1.91e-159, pR: -158.72 > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
