Have 6 guests running periodically with 4 up and serving applications during production. Now that the learning curve is over I have no complaints with performance or stability.

I do have all the latest patches on SLES 8. I meant that I haven't done any customization of the system that might have changed the way Yast works. We found part of the problem. It looks like autodetect is turned off on SLES 8. That is why it was not picking up the new NIC, from what my Linux person and I can tell. He has managed to get it into chandev now, so that is a step forward. However, something still isn't right. I'll keep plugging away at it. Just to satisfy my curiosity, how many people there have used Vswitch for one or more Linux systems at this point? What "flavor" of Linux are you using?
