is the nic there? is it coupled to the guest lan? David -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port on behalf of Rich Smrcina Sent: Wed 4/6/2005 9:51 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Curious problem We have a Linux machine (SLES9 64-bit) that we want connected to a Vswitch. The directory entry is correct (it is the same as other machines that are working). The machine is authorized to connect to the Vswitch (I personally love that feature :( ). When the machine comes up the interface startup counts down to 0 and does not initialize. The ifcfg-qeth-bus-ccw... file is set up correctly.
Once the machine is up the qeth driver is not loaded and the parts of the file system related to the qeth driver are gone. How do I get the qeth driver to load automatically? Thanks. -- Rich Smrcina VM Assist, Inc.
