I have been testing TSM bare metal restore of SLES9 s390 by using another
SLES9 s390 and mounting the Linux to be restored volumes on to /mnt and
have successfully restored the SLES9 and booted no problem. The problem I
have is that the Linux I used to recover the failed Linux instance both had
the same volume group name so I had to create a unique volume group name
for the Linux to be restored. Now that I have the recovered Linux up and
running I want to rename the group name from xvg1 back to vg1.
Any thoughts on how I can rename my volume group when it is an active
volume group ?
My filesystems show vg1 on the recovered Linux but show xvg1 on the
vgdisplay and lvdisplay:
