Did you set up the directories and symbolic links as documented? If not, then
download mksles9root.sh from http://linuxvm.org/Patches/ and run that.

Subject: SLES 9 using SLES 7 as an installation server

I have loaded the SLES 9 CDs to a SLES 7 system and start the install for SLES
9. When I get to the point where I set up FTP I get an error that either the
FTP server cannot be connected or the directory doesn't exist. If I start a
telnet session and do a manual FTP using the same information I provided I
don't have any trouble seeing the installation media. Any one have any clues
as to what I am doing wrong?
