No such package on Slack/390.  There's cups, and lprng, and that's it.  If 
lprng was installed on top of cups, that could cause a similar issue.  Only one 
of the two should be installed, not ever both of them.  One way to tell is:
# v /usr/bin/lpr
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 8 2005-01-27 15:49 /usr/bin/lpr -> lpr-cups
