I just shut down SLES11, that part of the shutdown was about 3 or 4
seconds.  Best guess, no stopwatch.  Then again, measuring by either
guesses, stopwatch or "mississippi's" is inaccurate at best (I'm sure
Rob is having a good chuckle).

In my case I don't consider the time any different.  Is your system
heavily loaded during the shutdown time?  Is this consistent?
