Excellent! I have been running Ubuntu (desktop, server, netbook) on all my computing devices for the last 3 years.. things 'just work'. And Debian and it's package manager and .deb structure is just better than rpm IMHO. Hope this works out - love to see a new face in the mix here... tres cool.
