Anyway, nope see no lladdr, did the following

On Yast, screwed up the interface, no IP address, no gateway.
But to be fair, prolly what we are hitting against anyway. Went BACK to
the z/VM Console commander and had him run my cheesy little network
script
to set network correctly ....
