Hello,
You can try checking out these packages: https://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libpurple.so.0%28%29%2864bit%29&submit=Search+...&system=&arch=s390x That could fix the libpurple warning you are getting. (Not sure if these will help you out on your OS) And for libre office, well that's going to be a tricky one. But they have the source code available: http://www.libreoffice.org/about-us/source-code/ So you can try building it from scratch. There are some rpm's as well, tagged s390x on rpmfind.net Hope this helps a bit.
