I'm not sure. We didn't get past the init.d process with IBM LMT failing. We're required to run that so we stopped testing there.

I have a bunch of servers with this kernel level. Do you know if it limited to specific 32 bit applications or all? -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU] On Behalf Of Marcy Cortes Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2016 12:17 PM To: LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: Re: SLES 11 SP4 - Kernel locking up It's not out yet. You'll need to contact SUSE for a PTF. I was told it is 987099 in Bugzilla.suse.com But I don't seem to have access to that. -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU] On Behalf Of Aria Bamdad Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2016 9:11 AM To: LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: Re: [LINUX-390] SLES 11 SP4 - Kernel locking up Does anyone know what kernel level this bug has been fixed in or can you provide a link to an issue that I can monitor? SUSE has a test fix for it. Has to do with running 32bit programs. ILMT was the one that we discovered it with. -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU] On Behalf Of Jorge Fábregas Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2016 2:23 PM To: LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: [LINUX-390] SLES 11 SP4 - Kernel locking up Hi everyone, We're having some kernel locking issues after installing the latest kernel for SLES 11 SP4 (kernel-default-3.0.101-77.1). This is on two separate Linux guests and it happens - right away- after starting some network applications: Linux completely freezes. If we go back to the previous kernel everything runs fine. I've opened a case with SUSE & we'll be uploading a z/VM dump of the guests but wondered if anyone else has seen this before (recently)?
