I'm looking for a way to increase the size of my root filesystem. I want to copy it from a 3390-mod9 10017 cyls to a 3390-mod27 32760 cyls. It has an EXT4 filesystem. I tried to use the same procedure I used with a Ubunto PC new disk.
fdisk deleted the partition add a new partition with all the new space resize2fs But when I fdisk the new 3390 - it says no partitions exist. I tried to resize2fs - it says, nothing to do. Is there a procedure to accomplish this? -- The postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent Mainline’s positions or opinions Mark D Pace Senior Systems Engineer Mainline Information Systems ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www2.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
