I have Mandrake and I am trying nohdparm. I have had X and one setiathome
running for over three hours now. It used to freeze at once if i tried to
run tkseti, but not this time. I have started tkseti a couple of times.
The graphic card is ATI Rage II.
I will soon start another setiathome and have X and two setiathome running.
I seems to be less RAM in use with nohdparm. A normal session with some
Netscape windows and a couple of xterms and a BitchX running took all 128M
and some swap before. The same session plus a setiathome running with
nohdparm use some 110-115M.
