Perhaps, but I kinda think that Corel saw Linux as a chance to have an
operating system of their own, in which they could add their own
"features," integrate their own applications into the OS.  In essence, I
think they had planned to use the same strategy that Microsoft uses with
regard to Windows.  The next step would be to get it pre-loaded on PCs.

I could have been a nice product if they could've pulled it off:  Buy a
computer with a user-friendly Linux OS that comes complete with Corel
Office software, and easily integrates into a Windows network
environment.
