The majority is not being exploited. When I look at how much Europeans
have to pay for everything I get a good laugh at your bullshit. You are
getting screwed day after day everytime you buy just about anything.
As for Bush, his brother has no choice but to fix the electoral system in
Florida and this will help us boot the boob out of office. We have a
dictator for the next four years in the white house but he has the
congress to watch him and he's going to have some problem passing his
moronic fundy agenda.
Despite this unfortunate stolen election we are still in perhaps the
most free country in the world. We have a moron for president but so
do most countries in the world.
> The main reason most new technology orignates in the US is that you do

Nonsense, it is because this country is free and attracts the most brillant
minds in the world. This country is the whole world put together. You go
from city to city and you'll be amazed how diverse our population is. This
especially true for New York and California.
> As for software, and many other areas of new

Recent immigrants are just one part of the society. You will find highly
qualified people in every groups of people in this great country of ours.

Now matter how screwed we may get by Gates we'll be ahead of the rest
of the world in just about every thing for years to come.

Yes, they do, your point?
It's based on the same kernel (NT), incoporate much of the same features,
plus a lot of new stuff.
I've very few problems with it so far:
1> Application stability, especially OE.
2> Installion of VS6 & MSDN takes a *long* time and consume 100% CPU, I
understand that this is a known problem & has a workaround/fix, which I've
not investigated thus far.
3> VC is slow using common open dialog, known & has workaround.
4> IntelliPoint 3.2 (console user) is rendered useless if you login via TS
and open IntelliPoint in your connection, need to be closed & opened again.
5> *Lots* of UI bugs, mainly it's things like messages where the words
overflow the box's size.
Posted from OE 5.6 using Whistler AD 2296, Uptime 17 hours 33 minutes 51
seconds, 1 user @ console, 3 users via TS, 2 diconneted user sessions.
The low uptime is just because I'd to just install the system.

flatfish proudly displays his ignorance again -
It would do no good to explain to him that for example
netscape has it's own spell checker, as do most apps
that deal with documents, and that Linux distros have
bundled separate spell checkers as well, in addition to
the old Unix /usr/dict/words file.

No, only an idiot would fail to see the sense in it.
I know of hundreds of reputable hardware vendors
who can build a Linux system. Guess what? They
sell a good number of them. IBM just sold15,0000
of them to a japanese copmpany, IIRC.

Then you are an ignorant. 4% error is not important unless the difference
between the candidates is below that. When money is scarce in a county,
this is usually spent where it's needed the most, in the schools, police
and public works. The federal and states should pay for the voting system
not the poor local system.

There is fraud across the board but most of it is done by the ones who
can afford it the most. What about those thousands of New Yorkers who
voted both in New York and Florida? A large portion of absentee ballots
were cast by republicans. If you remove all the illegal absentee ballots
Al Gore wins big even with the screw up in the largely democratic counties.

Those chads should have been removed from the ballots in the first place.
If not punched there is no way in hell one of those chads can come off.
You obviously have never seen one of those ballots.

Past experience shows how I ignored Malloy for over a year, but he

I know it wasn't NECESSARY. I chose to. The binary downloads aren't
customised the way I wanted. Eg they all seem to contain SCSI support.
I don't have have SCSI (cheap computer) so I don't want support for it.

C: Jet Silverman claims to have killfiled me.
D: Jet Silverman now follows me from newgroup to newsgroup
