  Hi,

a new snapshot release of the wxWindows cross-platform
toolkit has been released and is available from my
site at

  http://wesley.informatik.uni-freiburg.de/~wxxt

The Linux version now supports both GTK 1.0 and GTK 1.2
but development is now almost exclusively done with
GTK 1.2.

The page now has new screenshots and an extra page
dedicated to projects around wxWindows at

  http://wesley.informatik.uni-freiburg.de/~wxxt/sites.html

Robert.

Flying Windows 0.0 has been released.

This is an xscreensaver "screen hack" (ie, you need a copy of xscreensaver
to compile it, and it accepts all of the standard options and runs nicely,
just like all of the hacks that come with the official xscreensaver
distribution).

It presents Microsoft(tm) Windows(tm) icons flying at you through space,
and either Tux the Linux Penguin, the FreeBSD Daemon, or a Sun Microsystems
UFO flying around and shooting the icons out of the sky.

There's also a non-violent mode which displays X11 logos instead of
Windows(tm).

The program is freeware and comes as C source code. You'll need
xscreensaver source, too, available at http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/

Info., screenshots and the download are available at:
