Date: Thu, 17 Jun 1999 00:04:06 GMT

=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

I have released a (historic) Cobol compiler that may be useful for someone
trying to implement such language to another OS (Linux?!). It's written mostly
in C, with a few x86 assembler routines. Included there is a debugger in prolog
(Boralnd's Turbo Prolog(TM)).
This compiler generates a code that does a simple non-preemptive multitasking
for MsDos(Microsoft, TM) and was designed for tying several microterminals to a
single PC, each one sharing the same code, but with separate data and stack
segments.
Grab the source at http://members.xoom.com/rpragana/rpcobol.tar.gz.
Everything from now on is release under GPL. Enjoy!

best regards,
Rildo

                  | Eridani Star System announces: |
                  `--------------------------------'

Eridani CDROM with Red Hat 6.0 -----> UKP 3.00 each.

         Linux-Mandrake 6.0 -----------------> UKP 3.00 each.

         Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 2CDROM set ----> UKP 5.00 per set.

Eridani CDROM with Red Hat 5.2 -----> UKP 3.00 each.

Red Hat Powertools 5.2 -------------> UKP 3.00 each.

         Linux-Mandrake 5.3 -----------------> UKP 3.00 each.

The install CDROMs include an El Torito boot record, which, on supported
hardware make them bootable.

The Red Hat 6.0 CDs are made to order, and as such, will have all the Red
Hat updates to that time on the CD. Rather than having them in a separate
updates directory, we have opted to make them part of the install, so you
automatically have an up-to-date Linux system.

A large amount of extra software has been included on the CDROM, including
Corel WordPerfect (downloadable version) and Sun JDK 1.1.7 (for the
programmers out there). Also now included are xawtv and alevt (for bttv-based
TV cards), VNC and SSH 1.2.27.

A second CD is available, which contains all the source code. Red Hat
Linux is just too big now to have all the binaries and sources on the one
CD. This CD is also available, also for UKP 3.00.

The Debian CD set is the Official Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 (slink) 2CD
distribution.

The Mandrake CDs are based on the official ISOs. However, since the
official ISO doesn't appear to be bootable, we've remade it so it does
boot.

For more information, and how to order, please visit the web page at:

        http://www.amush.cx/linux/

International orders accepted, but due to the cost of bank charges and
international mail, the prices will be slightly higher.

Sorry, we cannot accept credit cards. Cash (Pounds sterling preferred!)
and cheques drawn on a UK bank. International bank transfers accepted,
however subject to a UKP 2.00 charge due to bank charges. There is a
UKP 1.50 charge for postage and packaging within the UK, variable for
international customers.

Pinfo is Przemek's Info Viewer

Description:
- --- cut ---
Pinfo is an info file viewer. It was created, when I
was very depressed, trying to read gtk info entries
using the standard tools. Pinfo is similar in use to lynx.
It has similar key movements, and gives similar intuition.
You just move across info nodes, and select links, follow
them... Well, you know how it is when you view html with
lynx. :)
It supports as many colors, as it could.
Pinfo also supports viewing of manual pages -- they're
colorised like in the midnight commander's viewer, and
additionaly they are hypertextualized (i.e. when pinfo
encounters a reference of form manualname (n), then you
can press enter there, and voila -- you're on the page
for `manualname'.
Keyboard and colors are fully configurable.
Pinfo supports URL's embedded into info documents and man
pages. To be precise, supported URL's are mailto, ftp, http.
- --- cut ---

Changes:
- --- cut ---
0.5.4
Fixed highlighting code (the handling of \t's).
PgDn works now more `traditionaly' -- at end the last link is
selected.
Added FILTER-0xB7 config option.
Fixed bug in `*note:' detection.
Added option for enabling quit confirmation at exit (as in lynx).
Added option for clearing screen at exit
Added support for lightbackground
Fixed nonblack background in displaying contents of text.
Added support for multi-dired info dir entries.
Finally done some simple search highlighting.
