So, in order to free some place for Linux they usually need to resize their disk partitions, which is still a delicate operation, only permitted by some hard-to-use text based programs like "fips" or other proprietary software. We, at MandrakeSoft, have choosen to release our own full-featured graphical partioner freely (under the terms of the General Public License). DiskDrake currently runs under Linux. The player is made for Eiger Labs and contains 32 MB of memory and can be expanded upto another 32 MB with a smart media card. This software is a GUI (lesstif) frontend program that uses a backend program built by the Snowblind Alliance.
