I've found that the RedHat 5.0/5.1 distribution is rather easy to use,
but then again that depends on what type of network you want to set up.
I don't know of any script that does it auto-magically. All I wanted to
do was use a Linux box as a server for another windows box as well as an
internet gateway. If you're going to use the Linux bax strictly as an
internet gateway and keep the Novell box as the server, then you should
have no problem. But keep in mind that you will have to re-compile the
kernel to enable firewalling and ip-masquerading. If you haven't , I'd
suggest some excellent references like the HOWTO's on sunsite, etc. Most
of the info in the man pages that come with a distro. are hard to grasp
unless you really know what you are doing. Anyway, that's my 2� worth.
