Hello all

Since i've joined this mailing list yesterday only,
i might have missed some useful mails on this topic.
I'm sorry if this has been discussed earlier.

    I'm running RedHat 5.2 on i686 (linux kernel 2.2.1)
in a network of mostly HP-UX 10.20 machines. On of
these machines does run xntpd. How do i synchronize
the time of my machine to that of this machine? All
i could find in my linux box was support for time -
protocol (timed) but not for ntp (if i haven't missed
    anything).

I also tried rdate, but found it useless unless run
on hourly basis. The time drifts by significant amt.
even in a matter of few hours!

Thanx in advance,
SSaxena
