I'm almost positive it wasn't something on any of the obvious data
sheets (like the '7500 one); I got in touch with someone at ex-ART (or
whichever bit of the Acorn pie does NCOS 2) and I think they told me,
but this was pre-fun, so I'd've lost it.
Maybe the quickest route is to get back in touch with them. I have a
feeling someone called Neil supplied the information.
A crude solution would be to map in an I/O page during boot-up and stroke
it until the swapper gets going, I guess. This was all ages ago and I
was even more clueless than I am now, so I dunno really.
I imagine these things are generally too small to read labels off; or
would asking someone to lift the lid do any good? I also have the email
address of the tech at Curtis-Mathes responsible for dealing with them;
perhaps he got given technical documentation somewhere. I'll email.
