I was wondering if anyone could help...

I have a Simtec EB-7500-FE RISCStation board, and am currently trying to
get an ARM Linux kernel working on it. I have successfully (I think)
downloaded, patched and built an arm-linux-elf cross-compiler and used
this to build a kernel. The kernel was built from 2.4.0 sources from
kernel.org, and patched with the latest patches from arm.linux.org.uk.
However, having loaded the kernel through a RISCOS boot loader all I get
is a corrupted screen full of garbage (you know, something that looks
like the contents of memory has been dumped to the monitor).

Now, have I been hideously naive and overlooked some fundamentals, or is
there a simple answer to the problem? (I am new to this Linux game,
after all)

Also, if it is a RISCStation dependent problem, is there a CVS/ftp site
that I can get patches from? I have seen several "under development"
notices about RISCStation Linux, but my project has a deadline!

Thanks in advance,

Chris West
