I recently got a Confolio 300 laptop/"network computer" from a local computer
store. It uses the StrongARM 1100 processor and Open Firmware. It was
designed to run JavaOS but appears to not have it installed. I has a 2.1GB
hard drive and a built in ethernet port, but no floppy or CDROM drives. From
the firmware I can have it connect to a dhcp/bootp server and boot from that.
Has anyone ported ARM Linux to this system? Also, is there a simple image I
can try booting from the network? Even if it just prints to the screen I
could at least test to make sure everything's working. Thanks.
