Finally managed to install Debian ok my NetWinder (foolishly
initially installing unstable which isn't in a good state right now).
I've built a 2.4.1 kernel which is ok - until eth0 is brought up. I'm
then presented with the same message over and over with increasing
numbers:
eth0: (N) System Error Occurred
And an unusable system. Presented with a kernel with RAM disk support
(e.g. lkab ones), the system insists on trying to boot from RAM disk -
presumably it's found something in flash, and then just stops. Ways
around this?
Am I the only one with a flakey keyboard connector?
Finally, what X Server should I be using - there's a couple of old ones
floating about netwinder.org, but I couldn't make them work - perhaps I
wasn't using the correct XF86Config?
