Hi,
I am not aware about the appropriate forum or news group to post this
problem.
I am sorry for the same.
Problem Statement:
--------------------
I have a computationally intensive piece of code compiled and linked
using the ARM -Software Development Tool (SDT2.5) which gives a 32 bit
stripped ELF binary image as an executable. This image when ran on
ARM-Linux gives a memory voilation problem. If I run this image on SDT
Debugger or Angel Debugger, the code works fine.
If I compile this source code using the arm-gcc to create an image with
same file format and run this image
on ARM-Linux, there no memory voilation problem.
The file formats of gcc and SDT generated image are exactly same. To me
it appears to be a typical toolset
problem. Any idea what could be wrong? Any one aware of how to fix
this? Please mail me ur reply at "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
Thanks and Regards
Shivaram Gavankar
