First, at the time of release, the HHL 1.2 release for Assabet did not contain
support for SA-1110 USB client or SA-1111 USB OHCI devices. So you need to upgrade
your kernel. You can try checking ftp.mvista.com for updates or get the latest
public kernel for SA-1100, 2.4.1-rmk1-np2.

Not surprising if you're really using the "test2" kernel. Neither SA-1110 USB
client nor SA-1111 USB OHCI drivers were supported back then.

Also, you seem to be inferring that you expect to see a USB "host"
controller by reference to /proc/bus/usb above. Yet you make no mention
as to whether you're using the Neponset expansion module with SA-1111
USB host controller. The SA-1110 itself includes only a USB "client" device
for which there are device driver(s) in the latest kernel release. But the
SA-1110 USB client driver(s) are not part of the "linux USB" sub-system
proper and therefore will not appear under /proc/bus/usb. If you need a USB host
controller, you must use the SA-1111 USB port on the Neponset expansion module.

Upgrade your kernel to the latest: 2.4.1-rmk1-np2.

For USB host support, you _must_ install the Neponset expansion module.

Use:
        make neponset_config oldconfig dep zImage

To build.
