Hi,
These questions have nothing to do with linux but it
seems to me this community is the most knowledgeable
on these issues.
First, do I actually need X window? X window is
pretty big. I am now running X window on Assabet
through NFS. This is ugly because Assabet is supposed
to be portable.
The next question is what client programs do not need
X? I checked several programs and all of them require
X.
Finally, does Assabet have enough computing power as a
streaming video client?
