Thank you for your prompt response and I apologize for the poor syntax of
the previous message. (I thought I hit spell-check :))
I am sure that the Newton ASICs are vastly different then any of the Mac
architecture. For one, the Mac product line is built on two different
processor cores. I was hoping that someone in the Linux/ARM community or in
the embedded Linux space would have tried to fit the microcontroller Linux
or some other form onto a Newton. It looks like that it might be timne to
start another porting project. :)
At the price point that Newton equipment is falling to on eBay and other
auction houses, it would seem a natural fit for a Linux port.
