It looks like there's basic support for the ARM610 processor. However, I
don't think the Newton would be an easy target:
Memory includes 4 megabyte of ROM containing the
operating system and PDA software, plus 1 megabyte of RAM, of
which about 485 kilobyte are available for the user.

The core CPU is supported, and rather open. ARM Inc. was created by
Acorn and Apple specifically to develop the ARM600/610. However, getting
documetation on the peripherals is another matter entirely...
