I'm adding the same question as steve, cause I encounter it as well but
nobody answered it yet:
I downloaded and used blob-kit-assabet-1.3.tar.gz that uses
2.4.0-test5-rmk1-np1 and telnet works great but only the first time.
Subsequent sessions hang at "connected", to local or remote clients. I've
had this problem on earlier versions of kernel/ramdisk combinations as well.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is it possible that sockets aren't
cleaned up?

Mine problem:
My system:
Assabet rev 8 board.
Blob 1.08 pre-2
Linux kernel - 2.4.3 -rmk2-np1
Ramdisk_ks (warable group)
I login to the assabet from a NT machine, and I see that after disconnetting
by the NT, I see in netstat on the assabet that its stuck on close_wait
state for a long time, and I cannot connect anymore. This is the state after
trying about 4 times to connect and disconnect
