Hi,

I was trying to get Ethernet working on the IQ80310 board. My understanding
based on previous posts here is, Ethernet works fine on this board.

For me it doesn't. I was looking at the boot messages and some thing
interesting came up, it's related to EEPROM checksum failing. Does this mean
any thing or relates to Ethernet not working at all?.

Messages that are related to this during boot process are....

Found Intel i82557 PCI Speedo, MMIO at 0x88100000, IRQ 4.
eth0: Invalid EEPROM checksum 0xf350, check settings before activating this
device!
eth0: OEM i82557/i82558 10/100 Ethernet, 00:80:4D:46:00:C9, IRQ 4.
Board assembly ffffff-255, Physical connectors present: RJ45 BNC AUI MII
Primary interface chip unknown-15 PHY #31.
    Secondary interface chip i82555.
  General self-test: passed.
  Serial sub-system self-test: passed.
  Internal registers self-test: passed.
  ROM checksum self-test: passed (0xdbd8681d).
IQ80310 flash: Found 1 x16 CFI device at 0x0 in 8 bit mode
JEDEC ID: 89 17
NET4: Linux TCP/IP 1.0 for NET4.0
------

Can any on help me out with this.

Thanks in advance.
