I don't know anything about your architecture , so
please forgive if this is a silly question. It is not clear to
me if wvdial is running on your arm device or your pc device.
Is the arm device initiating a ppp connection to the x86 device,
or vice versa? Which one is running what?
Do you have gettys spawning on that serial device? Does it
think there is a mouse there?
