Hi,
Using my "ancient Linux/ARM system based on libc4 and a.out binaries" - ie
installed from the rpms on the site as of last October (all dated August
12th 1998 IIRC). I'm trying to upgrade using the rpms Chris Rutter has
provided.
I've managed to install the a.out rpm, and used it to install the
glibc-2.1.1 rpm. However, trying to install the other rpms (including the RPM
rpm) complains at a lack of:
/bin/sh, install-info, mktemp
(amongst other things including too early a version of patch etc)
mktemp and install-info are not present, /bin/sh is a link to /bin/bash.
Is anyone able to help/offer advice? I've searched around on various ftp
sites to no avail.
Thanks,
Tom
PS Also, can anyone advise as to how to use Timothy Baldwin's 2.2.7-rmk4
kernel on my RPC SA, EtherB. It just sits there looking for bootp etc once
it's found the card. I'm guessing compiling my own will sort all this out.
