Terry,
I have a lot of experience with various ARMs and lots of experience
with ARMs and graphic displays on flat panels. One thing to watch is the
combination of res x color depth x panel refresh. SA1100s get their bus
maxed out at about VGA 16 color. At this point you really start to
notice
execution delay, esp interrupt response.
I am working on a "Open Hardware" ARM platform for Linux, I would
appreciate any input on video display subsystems.
