Terry,

I have a SA110 design using the 21285 already finished. If I can find
someone to help with the Linux port I plan on making it an "Open
Hardware"
design. I will put all the schematics gerbers, firmware on a CD.

This design is a dual 10/100 Base TX design used on a LAN encryptor
project. It has a PCI expansion connector using a 72 pin SIMM connector.
There are 4 serial ports, RTC, 1 Meg Flash, 1 Meg EPROM, 4 Meg SDRAM.

I would like to get a PCI video controller and a hard drive interface
on the board. The Ethernet is via an expensive ($90) Galileo 48002 which
might be nice for your application but is expensive in general. The
board
contains an on board switching regulator, it runs from a 24V DC wall
transformer.

Mechanically it is about 9 x 5 inches and it fits into a closed
extruded aluminum case. No Fans.

There is code for setting up a debug session (Angel) over ethernet.

I need some suggestions as to a video, ethernet and disk controllers
that
are well supported on Linux.

If you or anyone else out there wants a picture of the board send me
an
email.

Thanks,
Bob Kondner
