A NetWinder in a custom case? The standard units can run without a fan if
you do without a hard disk, if you can remote boot them, otherwise you
might be able to get away with just building a larger case for it (I have
run a couple with no case or fan for a while, and they didn't get too
hot).

The SA1100 is slower than the SA110 (it has less cache), plus I believe 
the Brutus SA1100 evaluation board is more expensive than a full
production NetWinder. Another possibility is a CATs board, which seem
