Hi, Nicolas

Thanks for your reply.

I tried brutus-test.tgz this night. It works on the
serial port. But there is still nothing on the LCD.
When I hit the native keyborad, I issued a command "ps
-a " via the minicom terminal and accidently saw a
line something like "30 tty1 login"qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq"
".

IMO, kernel really received something from the native
keyboard and spawned a login process to deal with it.
But it cannot receive exactly what I entered on the
keyboard.

I also can see irregular scanline on the LCD, but
nothing meaningful.

Do I need do some change or configuration to let
native console work?
Are you sure that linux-2.2.13-rmk2-np14 can make
native LCD and keyboard work ? I should use what
versions of binutils and gcc( including the version of
kernel headers) to build it?

Additionally , I also tried zImage-2.3.35 given by you
at ftp://ftp.netwinder.org/users/n/nico. But it can
not startup ,ending up after displaying"RAMDISK dirver
initialized".

Another question, can I used the new tool chain which
is introduced by Chris Rutter(binutils 2.9.5.0.14, gcc
2.95.1, kernel header liuux-2.2.12-rmk1-cvs-990915) to
build linux-2.2.12-rmk1-np13 ?
