Hi Philip:
I have built libgcc.a and glibc-2.1.3 with big endian successfully. But
when I come back to rebuild c and c++ compilers I got new problem. I am
working on it to fix it.
I got another question here, is there any one who had built a linux kernel
for strong ARM with big endian. I used the big endian toolchain to build
linux kernel for big endian and got following error message:
entry-armv.S Assembler messages:
entry-armv.S:623: Error: address offset too large
entry-armv.S:625: Error: Invalid constant
entry-common.S:20: Error: address offset too large
entry-common.S:23: Error: address offset too large
entry-common.S:85: Error: address offset too large
These happened in /linux-2.2.12/linux/arch/arm/kernel. I compiled the
kernel for little endian ARM without any problems.
Please let me know if you have any idea.
Regards.
David
