MIDI provides 14bit controller resolution by having controller pairs. That should be enough for controller since most sliders/knobs on hardware have much less than that. Pitch bend is 14bit also, allthough there is a lot of hardware that only uses the MSB. For what MIDI is meant for it isn\'t that bad actually. A higher transmission rate would solve most problems users are having. As long as MIDI is only used for IPC you can easily have a higher transmission rate. --martijn Powered by ASHosting
