This port is a vast improvement, in terms of stability and features, over several older Linux rt ports, such as qrt. Doug's new verson reads WAVE & AIFF format and writes WAVE format. The track map has been significantly improved over the old SGI version. Scott has updated the documentation and the resource file (which we still are tinkering with). He has responded positively to our requests for some additional features, such as support for 96k 24 bit soundfiles, and for up to 24 input tracks. There is still some work to be done, but I would guess that Doug soon will be ready to make this port available. It is really a nice piece of work.
